It’s based on the Pinterest idea. You add a Chip It! button to your bookmarks or favorites, and you are ready to go!

Here I uploaded my blog heading:

Linda, do you see a button where it says you can save picture? Are you on’ letschipit’ page?
I have the Chip it! button on my header but once I “chip it” and see the colors I never know what to do next. Is it just for color inspiration?
I saw this awhile ago on SW site and thought it a great concept for those who need color inspiration…or actually finding the name of a color that’s in an inspiration photo. I’ve played with it awhile too
I also like to use SW’s site to upload a photo and play with various colors. That’s a great idea to see how certain things will look before you commit to a color
I did it for our front door. It works great to give you a starting point.
Thanks for highlighting this SW feature.
It’s fairly new Kristie. Yes- you will get addicted!
Yes- always give credit!! I try really hard to because I think it is important.
You are so funny Sheila! Give it a try!!
I have read about this, but have not dared to try it. I fear it will give ‘squirrel’ a whole new meaning once I do!
LOVE IT!!! Just, may i add a tip…specially if you have a blog and plan on using the chip it! images, have the URL handy and copy it in the notes space below the image for you to be able to credit your source and make everyone very happy…Thank you for introducing me to this tool…hurray for SW, very cool idea!!! Alexandra
Can you believe that I haven’t tried this yet? You have convinced me – I’m sure it will be my next color addiction!
