One of the easiest way to dress up a room is with flowers.

But if you are like me, I find arranging flowers to look nice in a vase is almost impossible!   I have read books on how to start with the tallest flower and work your way out and I have studied pictures and try to copy, but my homemade arrangements always look sad and bad.  So I want to share a couple HUGE decorating tips I found that works everytime you want to bring fresh flowers in your home.Arrange one type of flower in one color, cut short. Buy twice as many as you think you should — too much of a good thing always works with flowers.  THAT’S IT!

Another easy way to bring in the outdoors is using branches.  Especially now when all of the spring branches are just starting to flower. The best container to use for all types of branch arrangements is a cylinder shaped vase.It’s a statement — like having a miniature tree in your house.
